Preparation is key!
When laying turf, it’s paramount that the ground is prepared correctly to ensure the turf will have the best chance of flourishing. This involves a series of steps to create a suitable bed for the turf to root.
We will prepare the ground by first clearing the area, which includes digging and rotovating the soil. We will also add top soil if required to improve the quality. Next, we will level and firm the soil by adding pre-turfing fertilizer. Finally, the soil will be raked and leveled again before adding the turf.
We also be on hand to advise on aftercare for the turf to ensure it is properly care for after installation.
